"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
Dear Parents & Students,
At Lafayette Christian Academy, we are committed to helping each student and their parents in planning for college. We will challenge each student to learn academically while developing their God-given talents and growing spiritually. Our curriculum is designed to meet college admission requirements so that each student can pursue a college that best fits their goal. LCA recognizes that each student has unique abilities and we are committed to showing students how to utilize them for Christ. We desire to help all students seek God's perfect plan for their life.
Equipping students with the knowledge of college and directing them into their future begins during their freshman year of high school. A four year course plan is created according to their desires for the career of their choice. This plan is monitored during their sophomore and junior year of high school. Assisting them in applying to the colleges that are appropriate for their career interests and their academic performance are done during their junior and senior year of high school.
You will find valuable information on this college preparatory site. There are college links, important upcoming dates, scholarship opportunities and ACT/SAT information. Be sure to check out the different links that are appropriate for each grade of high school. The grade appropriate link will give the student important information about how to plan for college during that particular year of high school.
It is my goal to assist the student and parent during this exciting time in your life. If you need help or assistance, please do not hesitate to call or email me. I look forward to working with you and your child.
